I’m not sure how I’ve lived this long without this shoe organizer. It’s by far the best purchase I’ve made all year. My shoes are finally up off the floor, and I couldn’t be happier. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s not the easiest thing to assemble. With the help of my father, and a rubber mallet I got it put together. If you have a lot of flats or flip flops (like me), it will hold much more than 36 pairs.

I needed a small shoe rack to hang in my very small hall closet. This fits perfectly because it’s the smallest in terms of depth that I was able to find. The actual quality of the rack itself though is poor. It was easy to assemble as the bars just pushed into place and there were no screws required. But because the bars are just snapped into place and there was nothing holding it into the notch, the bars kept falling apart with too much weight (and I only put 3 pairs of shoes on each rack!). In a month the rack started to curve because it seemed like there was too much weight on one side. Overall, if you need a small shoe rack this is the smallest option that holds a lot of shoes, but if you want quality then walk away.

This is a terrific way to display a shoe collection, especially for the money. The only problem is that it is just a little bit too utilitarian: it positions the shoe with the rear facing up and out and the front hidden – other than being able to tell the color, it kind of hides the whole shoe. The solution: mount the rack up-side-down! Simply flip it over, and use a drill to make a new screw-hole for the attachment of the rack to the over-door clip (you’ll need a couple of 3/4″ #10 sheet-metal screws from the hardware store or your workbench). This allows the shoes to be ‘displayed’ beautifully, with the heel over the rack (against the door) and the front of the shoe sloping downward and shown entirely. Try it and see – it makes this the “perfect” shoe rack

Exactly as expected. Easy to put together if you use a rubber mallet, or hammer, and a block of wood.

This product works and is well constructed. Once you snap it together it stays functional. Some other products are flimsy and cannot support the weight of 36 shoes. But this one does !
